Milk Or Dark Chocolate?

Milk Chocolate Blends - The milk chocolate advent calendar contains blends that are slightly sweater. The milk chocolate highlights and complements the delightful added flavours.

Dark Chocolate Blends - If you're a fan of richer cocoa notes, our dark chocolate advent calendar is your perfect match. Packed with more cocoa solids (65%), these blends create an intense and indulgent hot chocolate experience with subtle added flavours. It's worth noting that our dark chocolate blends do not contain milk.

Our Dark hot chocolate advent is Made from a 65% dark chocolate base and does not contain dairy or milk powder or animal products. The chocolate is packaged in an environment that handles milk chocolate products.

What's In The Add-On 25 Box?

This will include marshmallows and an extra pouch of hot chocolate!

How We Brew

Add 250ml of your chosen milk and 24g of your chosen flavoured chocolate flakes to a small pan (keep a small pinch of flakes to sprinkle on top).
Bring to a gentle simmer making sure to not boil and burn the milk. Keep stirring with a whisk until all the flakes have melted into the milk.
Pour into your favourite mug, add your desired toppings and Enjoy!

Top Tip: Melting real hot chocolate can take longer than powder...it is totally worth it though. We like to use a hand held electric whisk to speed up the process and make the hot chocolate super smooth, you can also use a velvetiser

Milk alternative ideas: Almond, Hazelnut, Cashew, Coconut, Oat and Dairy milk all work great with our hot chocolate flakes, however to get a rich creamy hot chocolate, whole milk, coconut and Hazelnut Milk work the best!

I’ve had multiple tea advent calendars and so far this one is my favorite. The quality was top notch. I enjoyed how each tea came with a detailed description. The only thing I’d change is that all the teas were listed on the back, and I wish they were on the individual tea packages so each day could be a surprise.

Not a good balance of milk chocolate

I was surprised that in the Milk version there were two days of Dark and one day of plain cocoa. Some of the flavours were amazing but we can't even give Carrot away to guests!! I specifically brought this as my partner doesn't like dark chocolate so to already have two days he doesn't like was disappointing.

I'm still working my way through the last sachets of hot chocolate but can already say it's been the best selection of hot chocolate I've ever had! Glad I chose the milk chocolate version. Each sachet has been absolutely delicious. The flavours come through perfectly. I mostly use oat and almond milk. The barista versions foam up nicely when using my little battery powered stirrer. This also made the chocolate flakes blend in really well. I can't wait for the next hot chocolate advent calendar! It's the perfect advent treat, ideal for the cold season.

Not a massive fan

This calendar may be perfect for other but was not to my taste. I expected the flavouring to be incorporated into the chocolate flakes but they were added as sugar. This made it way too sweet in my opinion, it may be better with the dark chocolate calendar, but personally I don't want sugar in my hot chocolate.
